The Chicago Parks Foundation provides volunteer groups with supplies and support to independently host clean-ups at any of Chicago’s 600+ parks.
In 2020, the CPF launched our first ever citywide volunteer park clean-up initiative. Thanks to outstanding community enthusiasm, the effort has quickly grown and we have supported thousands of volunteers for hundreds of clean-up events!
Our PIFTP season runs June through October, kicking off with It’s Your Park Day on May 30th. 2026 registration details will be announced in the spring.
