Meet the Green Team: CFGI

CFGI joined us for a Green Teams clean-up on June 7th at Garfield Park.

CFGI is a leading global accounting and business advisory firm, the world's largest non-audit accounting firm. They partner with clients on their most important regulatory, transaction, and business improvement initiatives.

CFGI’s team of over 1000 former Big 4 professionals brings expertise across technical accounting, capital markets, tax, valuation, ESG, transaction advisory, restructuring, cybersecurity and technology solutions - all delivered with an independent and roll-up-the-sleeves approach. CFGI serves thousands of global clients from their 19 offices throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions, including a strong leadership presence in the Midwest.

How does your organization’s mission relate to the volunteer work you've done with Chicago Parks Foundation?

While we are an accountant firm, we care deeply about our community and do everything we can to help. We’re a community-first corporation. People are the priority at CFGI. That’s why, internally and externally, we’re always looking for ways to bring individuals together to support community causes.

What were some highlights of your clean-up experience?

We had a great time cleaning up the park with Emily! Really fun connecting with the team by swapping stories of what we found. It was a beautiful day to be out in the parks and share conversation with colleagues. We do a lot of remote work at CFGI, so it was nice to be together in person and share the outdoors.

Thank you for pitching in with us, CFGI!

YOU CAN PITCH IN, TOO!

Thanks to the generous support of our Green Teams, the Chicago Parks Foundation equips thousands of volunteers with free supplies for our Pitch In for the Parks citywide program.

Our Green Teams calendar is filling up for the 2023 season - reach out today to schedule your event, or join our alternative Pitch In for the Parks effort!

You can also join us with a gift or become a Chicago Parks Foundation Member! Your support helps make vital park programming like Pitch In for the Parks possible. When you invest in the parks, you invest in the communities who love and depend on them.
