Meet the Green Team: Daniel Management Group

Daniel Management Group joined us for a Green Teams clean-up on August 26th at Brands Park.

DMG is a Chicago-based real estate firm focused on multifamily investment and management. They combine the personal touch and creative solutions of a boutique management company with institutional-level experience, protocols and technology. They manage with a long-range view in order to create value.

Some DMG employees had volunteered with the Chicago Parks Foundation in previous jobs and thought it may be a fun fit for the first DMG Give Back Day! Brands Park was chosen because of its proximity to the first property DMG started managing.

Why is volunteering for the parks important to your organization?

Giving back to the communities where we operate is central to DMG’s mission. We especially like this opportunity to help beautify a park that is less than a mile from the first building we managed.

How does your organization’s mission relate to the work you’re doing with CPF?

As a multifamily property management company, we understand the value of ensuring that spaces where you want to spend time are safe and clean. We are thrilled to help do that to a local park in Chicago so both our residents and community members can enjoy the space.

Share a highlight of your clean-up event experience.

DMG is a largely remote workforce, so we really enjoyed the opportunity as a company to get together in person and see each other while giving back to our community.

Thank you for pitching in, DMG!

YOU CAN PITCH IN, TOO!

Thanks to the generous support of our Green Teams, the Chicago Parks Foundation equips thousands of volunteers with free supplies for our Pitch In for the Parks citywide program.

Our Green Teams calendar is filling up for the 2022 season - we encourage you to plan ahead for 2023 or join our alternative Pitch In for the Parks effort today.

You can also join us with a gift or become a Chicago Parks Foundation Member! Your support helps make vital park programming like Pitch In for the Parks possible. When you invest in the parks, you invest in the communities who love and depend on them.
