Meet the Green Team: Logiwa Technology, Inc.

Logiwa joined us for a Green Teams clean-up on August 12th at Humboldt Park.

The Logiwa team connected with the CPF when looking for opportunities to give back to their community while also enjoying one of the best things about the city - its parks!

Logiwa Technology Inc. is a Chicago-based SaaS company that provides industry-leading warehouse management and Cloud fulfillment technology. Their aim is to empower retail brands and Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers to run fully digital fulfillment networks and grow their direct-to-consumer businesses.

Why is volunteering for the parks important to your organization?

Logiwa aims to be more than just an industry leader, but a community leader as well. Coming together to help clean and restore Chicago’s public parks and give directly back to our community is one of the best ways to show our gratitude to the city, engage with our fellow Logiwans, and spend time growing as individuals.

How does your organization’s mission relate to the work you’re doing with CPF?

At Logiwa we take our company values seriously, including our efforts to act on them! Accountability is at the core of our company culture, along with teamwork. We knew we wanted to work with CPF to serve not only our customers but the needs of our community and the planet. The opportunities provided by CPF provide a direct avenue for accomplishing both.

Share a highlight of your clean-up event experience.

We shared a lot of laughs over some of the items we found while picking up Humboldt Park and even made it a bit of a competition. But overall, the best part was getting to be in the sunshine with each other while performing such a fulfilling service to our beautiful city. We had many people in the park thanking us for our efforts, which felt amazing.

Thank you for pitching in, Logiwa!

YOU CAN PITCH IN, TOO!

Thanks to the generous support of our Green Teams, the Chicago Parks Foundation equips thousands of volunteers with free supplies for our Pitch In for the Parks citywide program.

Our Green Teams calendar is filling up for the 2022 season - we encourage you to plan ahead for 2023 or join our alternative Pitch In for the Parks effort today.

You can also join us with a gift or become a Chicago Parks Foundation Member! Your support helps make vital park programming like Pitch In for the Parks possible. When you invest in the parks, you invest in the communities who love and depend on them.
