Chicago-based moving company, Move-tastic!, lent a major helping hand to the Chicago Parks Foundation this year as an annual sponsor. One of the biggest pieces of any event planning puzzle is getting stuff from here to there and back again. Our small but mighty team learned from the experts at Move-tastic! to master seamless logistics for our events. We used the awesome Move-tastic! vans to reliably transport materials for all of our signature events including the Play for the Parks Golf Invitational, Run for the Parks 5K, and the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
Move-tastic! also pitched in extra support for our It’s Your Park Day volunteer event when their own crew members personally delivered clean-up supplies to 45 participating parks. Nearly 300 volunteers participated in IYPD this year thanks to this effort.
Move-tastic!’s generous support took our 2024 year of events and programs to the next level. We appreciate their passion for helping people, their commitment to cultivating a strong team, and their fun energy.

The Move-tastic! crew loaded up It’s Your Park Day supplies at our office and ventured out to 45 parks across the city for deliveries!
How does your company’s mission align with the work of the CPF?
Move-tastic! is dedicated to transforming the moving experience by providing friendly, reliable service that prioritizes both efficiency and customer satisfaction. Our mission is to make every move not just seamless, but also enjoyable, ensuring you feel right at home—no matter where you're headed.
We proudly support the Parks Foundation as we feel that the home extends beyond the walls of the house. It can include the neighborhood, coffee shops and the parks that help make any home a wonderful place to live.
What was the highlight of your work with the CPF?
Helping the Chicago Parks Foundation was an incredible experience! One of the highlights was assisting with the delivery of materials for It's Your Park Day. Not only did we get to contribute to a fantastic community event, but it also allowed us to explore various neighborhoods across the city. It was a joy to see the vibrant parks and help the passionate people who care for them, making the day both fulfilling and fun.

Partnering with the Chicago Parks Foundation has given us invaluable insights into the impact of community-focused initiatives, deepening our commitment to meaningful involvement. Working alongside the Foundation has shown us the importance of supporting accessible, green spaces that bring people together and foster a sense of belonging. This collaboration has not only allowed us to give back to the communities where we work, but it has also inspired us to approach every project with a focus on sustainability, teamwork, and a genuine care for Chicago’s neighborhoods.
^ Pete, Rachel and family even went the extra mile by participating in our Run for the Parks 5K! Our team used a Move-tastic! van to bring all of our supplies to and from the event, making for easy set-up and break-down.
^ Despite a rainy day, nearly 300 volunteers joined us on June 1st for It’s Your Park Day! Move-tastic! crew members personally delivered supplies to 45 participating parks across the city to make it happen.
